Membermojo - User guide
For orchetra memberships and subscription payments, we use a system called Membermojo. It's fantastic but there are few things everyone needs to know.

Register
Every orchestra member is registered on Membermojo via their email address
To login, go to Horsham Symphony Orchestra
Unless you have previously set it up, login does not require a password - it is via an email link
If you cannot remember what email address you used to join the orchestra, it'll be the one that you receive orchestra emails on!
If you want to change your email address, then login as above and then click Your Membership
If you are locked out of your email account and want to set up a new one, contact the membership secretary
You can use the same email address for multiple clubs/societies that use Membermojo. When you login, click on your name in the top right corner. On the Your Organizations drop-down, select Horsham Symphony Orchestra
Set up payment
Our preferred payment for orchestra membership is via PayPal - when you join/renew simply follow the link
The black credit/debit card link is part of PayPal. To use this, the card must be registered with PayPal
If you prefer not to use PayPal, you can still join/renew, but must pay by bank transfer
We do not have Stripe payments for credit/debit card payments
Annual subscriptions are only available per season (ie. September to July)
If you are unable to play for a term/year, please let the membership secretary know. Otherwise, you may encounter issues with your payments later on when you return to being active
Renew Membership
You are advised to renew your membership before the current one expires
It is possible to renew up to 1 month prior to expiry
Existing orchestra members will receive an automated email 11 days prior to their membership expiring, plus another 2 days prior to expiry
Membermojo will email you if you fail to renew your membership
If you do not renew within 28 days of your membership expiry date, Membermojo deem you as an expired member
If you are going to miss a term/year for whatever reason, please let the membership secretary know
Common issues
1. “I am not receiving any orchestra emails” – there are several possible causes:
you failed to renew your membership
you clicked on the Unsubscribe link on an earlier email
your email Inbox is full
there was a delivery failure. In some cases, Membermojo will block sending emails to an email account; this can be released by your Membership Secretary
in extreme (but rare) cases, there can be issues with your email provider blocking Membermojo emails. This will require you to contact your email service provider.
2. “I can’t remember what email I use to login” – speak to any committee member. They can check this easily for you.
3. “I’ve moved house/changed my mobile, what do I do?” – login to Membermojo and click on Your Membership to change the details.
4. “I’ve joined another Club that uses Membermojo, is that going to be an issue?” – no it is not. See the Register section above.
For committee members only
All committee members, plus one or two other key individuals, have admin rights in Membermojo
Mailing lists are available to use to send out emails, but their use is restricted to specified users (ie. specific email addresses)
